"Sugar High" or just "Sweet" Victory

WHAT IS LEFT TO SAY AFTER THAT!!!
So I have to almost cry because we had plans made to go and my dad said that it just wasn't going to work out BUT, with that said, the game was still just as amazing to watch on T.V.! Spencer had to work but he kept calling throughout the game to get current updates rather than the delayed updates on the computer. I watched the game at home by myself but I got to be as loud as I wanted and didn't have to worry about hosting anyone else. There was nobody to interrupt the game either. I would have loved to have people to enjoy the "SWEET" victory with but at the same time just having Spencer calling and keeping him posted was well worth watching the game alone!
I am so happy that the Utes were able to do so much more than just give Alabama a run for their money! I always had faith that they could take if as long as they came out to play ball. It really bothers me that others don't have as much faith in such a great team. Maybe now we will get even just a little bit of the respect that we deserved all along! With that said this was not a "Sugar High" for me rather it was just a "Sweet" Victory that sends a good message to the BCS..."Never Under Estimate What You Don't Know!"
GO UTES! 13-0 NO ONE CAN TAKE THAT AWAY FROM US!!!

New Year and Last Year...

As we bring in the New Year and say goodbye to 2008, Spencer and I want you to know our New Year wish for each of you...We hope that each and everyone of you are blessed beyond measure in 2009! We hope that any struggles you may face make you a stronger and better person. We hope that the trials you may endure throughout the year are small. We hope that your relationships grow and become unbreakable. We hope that you may find peace and love throughout the entire year and that you may bring those around you love and peace as well. We just really hope that 2009 is a year to never forget and for all the right reasons too! Happy New Year and God Bless!!!

Now to recap on 2008...

To be completely honest 2008 was pretty uneventful for us! Ha Ha... Spencer and I celebrated
our 1 year anniversary in April. We are so grateful to have each other and our family and friends. It was an amazing year and we look forward to many more to come.

Spencer and I both graduated in May. Spencer graduated from Weber State with his first bachelors in Respiratory Therapy. He is now back at the University of Utah working on his pre med classes. I graduated from Salt Lake Community College with 4 associates...and NO I didn't not change my major that much. :) I am now at Weber State working on my bachelors in Criminal Justice.

Spencer and I got to do some traveling but were really bummed that the Hill Family didn't take their yearly vacation. We got to go to some football games and we have already started planning the Hill Family vacation for 2009...Hawaii, here we come!!!

We got a Wii and we love having people over to play with us. My family loves coming over too. Spencer got lots of new games for Christmas too, so if you are ever interested in hanging out with us and having a good time too, just let us know!
Now to Welcome 2009...

Spencer and I did New Year Resolutions this year. I have never really been one to make resolutions but I had a lot that I hope to complete in this next year so I thought that I would give it a try.  I have already started to make a dent in them too! Interested in what they are...well here is a sneak peek...Spencer and I redid our entire budget. It was working before but we just felt like we could get so much more out of it so we redid everything and much to our surprise we already have started to see the fruits of our changes. We both picked goals for school. I would like to stay on the honor roll the entire year and Spencer would like to get back on the honor roll by the end of the year. (His classes are MUCH harder than mine so I don't blame him for not always being on it.) We would like to have some house projects done by the end of the year and be well on our way to going on our honeymoon finally in April of 2010. As we complete some and begin to cross them off, I will try to keep everyone posted.
So as another calendar year passes and a new one begins, again we wish you the best in everything to come. We really do hope that each and everyone of you is truly blessed beyond measure! Here's to 2009!!!
