Spencer and I finally did it! We were able to find a Wii fit! This past Christmas both my mom and I searched endlessly for one with no luck. They were selling out everywhere and fast too. We gave up hope of ever getting one at Christmas time and I figured I would just give it a few months. That is exactly what I did. Towards the end of March I started looking into it again but was finding out that it was no better than it was at Christmas time. One Sunny Saturday afternoon we were in Best Buy looking around and I asked one of the workers if they had any in stock. He stated that they were all sold out. I walked away and thought nothing of it but before leaving decided to ask another worker if there were any other stores that had Wii fits in stock. The gentleman looked it up and stated that THEY had some in stock but all the Wii fits were being used for the Sunday ad and so they wouldn't put anything out until Sunday morning. As I was walking away disappointed because I didn't want to come back the next day the gentleman approached me and said "Let me see if there are any extras that aren't being counted in the ad." The next thing I knew we were paying and walking out with our new Wii fit! For those of you that don't have one, I strongly recommend one. Even if you just get the Wii, it makes for great family fun and we have loved getting our families over to our house to play with us.

Wii Can Fit!!!
Spencer and I finally did it! We were able to find a Wii fit! This past Christmas both my mom and I searched endlessly for one with no luck. They were selling out everywhere and fast too. "March Maddness" Our Style...

I was going to post a new blog back about the middle of March and realized that would be crazy because we had so much going on and so many things happening all at once. To say the least I CLEARLY decided to wait. ;)
My best friend turned 24 on the 29th of March. He lives WAY too far away and so I don't get to see him often but I hope he knows that he means the world to me and that I think of him and his beautiful wife often. I pray there comes a day when we live much closer together and can spend tons of time with one another.

March was a maddening month for us...
My sweet grandma had her birthday on the 4th and turned a rip young age of 67. Grandma, June, is an extraordinary person who I have gotten to spend a lot of time with over my life and have some of the great memories with. She inspires me to be a better person each time I am around her or even get the chance to talk to her.

My great grandma...Yes, how lucky am I to still have a great grandma around. I actually have two still alive, incredible women I tell ya!!! Anyway, my great grandma, Florence, turned 96 on the 15th of March and though she has a problems, I am impressed to see the strength that she has to fight each day. She always has the craziest stories to tell and there is never a dull moment when visiting her.
My brother (the sweet one I talked about in my last blog) turned 21 on the 14th of March and man was I excited! My family went out to dinner with some of his friends and him to celebrate. His best friend put the whole thing together. Then my parents, a friend of mine, me, and Cory all went to Wendover for the sea food buffet. Cory played a little BlackJack and won some money before we headed back home. I can't believe that he is really 21, man where has the time gone. I love him to pieces and am so happy to have him as a part of my life. He has been so good to me AND Spencer. He treats Spencer as if they have always been brothers and even introduces Spencer to people as Cory's brother (which confuses a few people but I love it). We are so blessed to have him in our lives.
Spencer's grandpa had his birthday as well in March. He is such a sweet man that always treats us with the upmost respect. He has been so generous towards us and we love sharing in his company. We loved getting the family together to celebrate with all of them for his birthday!

Spencer's cousin, Alex, turned 17 on the 31st of March. We adore him so much. He is such a hoot to have around and we can't wait for him to get a car so he can come to our house for dinner one of theses nights. Spencer and Alex like to tease each other and it just wouldn't be the same if we couldn't share in such great moments with him. Love ya Alex!

Spencer's cousin, Heidi, celebrated her birthday as well. She has been so much fun to watch grow up. She is becoming quite the girly girl but she is so sweet and we love seeing her so often.
My brother (in-law, I hate this term and try not to use), Brandon, turned 22 on the 23rd. He has accomplished so much in the last year for himself and it has been so much fun to watch as he has grown into the man that he is. I love that I am apart of his family and get to share in celebrating such an amazing person's life. I also love that I share a birthday with him. I couldn't ask for anyone better to share it with!
Last but not least I turned 23 on the 23rd. Everyone kept telling me that it was my "Golden Year" and I think it is safe to say that's exactly what it was! There have been so many changes leading up to this birthday and they have all been positive, so I am claiming they were all due to my "Golden Birthday."

To start off the festivities we ate at Cheesecake Factory with almost my "whole" family. Both my parents and Spencer's parents were there. Preston and his girlfriend came. My brother and his best friend came and of course Spencer and I. We so wish that Brandon and his girlfriend could have shared in the time with us! We missed them greatly but hope they had a blast celebrating together.

I also had dinner with some amazing friends. This past year has been a very trying one for me in the friends department. There has been a lot of tears shed and heart ache for lost friendships that meant a GREAT deal to me. I am slowing getting closer with this and moving forward as I wish them the best in what their future holds for them. In this process I have made a few new friendships that I never imagined would have turned into what they have become. These are the women that I got to spend dinner with. I am so happy that they begged me to at least go to dinner with them to celebrate and it was even a bonus that it was Cheesecake Factory AGAIN! I love that place.
I was very spoiled for my birthday but I would particularly like to mention my gift from Spencer. He got me an awesome camera that I have been dying to get for awhile now. I have loved using it and being able to carry it around with me. Hopefully that will help lead to a lot more posts because I can take pictures of what is going on. I want to thank EVERYONE that helped make my birthday one to remember. You all mean so much to me and I am so blessed to have you in my life.

***NOTE*** If I missed ANY birthdays in the month of March for family members, I sincerely apologize and please let me know so that it does NOT happen again! We love you and are so blessed to have you as a part of our lives.
